Kolo Toure – Celtic – DONE DEAL

Brendan Rodgers has been reunited with former player Kolo Toure after he made the switch from Liverpool to Celtic on a one-year deal. The 35 year old centre back comes in to provide defensive cover for the Scottish giants after he was released by Liverpool at the end of the season.

Gonzalo Higuain – Juventus – Almost Done Deal

Gonzalo Higuain’s controversial move to Juventus is close to completion. The 28 year old striker has undergone a medical in Turin and agreed personal terms, but Napoli and Juventus are still trying to finalise an agreement. Napoli are insisting that they won’t accept an offer below his £79 million buyout clause, but Juventus are keen to reduce the price.

Paul Pogba – Manchester United

Reports suggest that Manchester United have submitted an improved £92 million bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The Serie A Champions are thought to be holding out for £100 million though, but Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that talks to sell the midfielder are occurring.

Nemanja Matic – Juventus

Allegri is lining up a move for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic in the likely event that Paul Pogba leaves Turin this summer.

Marcelo Brozovic – Arsenal or Liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. However, the club are asking for around £25 million for the player, and both Napoli and Juventus are monitoring his situation.

Ben Chilwell – Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring Leicester full back Ben Chilwell to Anfield, and he’s expected to submit an £8 million bid to the Premier League champions before the England U21 international can sign a new deal with his current club.

Riyad Mahrez – Chelsea

Chelsea are in the process of an attempted hijack of Arsenal’s move for Riyad Mahrez. Leicester’s star player were favourites to land his signature last week, but Chelsea’s odds have been slashed to 7/4 now as they look to capture the £40 million rated attacker.

Joe Allen – Stoke

Stoke are poised to sign Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen for around £13 million after former club Swansea failed to match their bid.

Alex Pritchard – Swansea

Instead, Swansea will turn their attentions towards Tottenham Hotspur winger Alex Pritchard, who is thought to be on the market for around £8 million. They will have to contend with Newcastle, Norwich, and Leeds though.

Arda Turan – Besiktas

Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas have stated their interest in bringing out of favour Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan to the club on loan. Barcelona are keen to sell the player and are prepared to lose money on last summer’s transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid still haven’t given up their chase of Chelsea striker Diego Costa. Their former striker is believed to be their top transfer target this summer, whilst Chelsea chase Alvaro Morata from Atletico’s cross-city rivals Real Madrid.

Saido Berahino – Stoke

The Stoke hierarchy are putting together a club record transfer bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino after the Midlands club rejected a £20 million offer for the 22 year old.

Adnan Januzaj – Sunderland

New Sunderland boss David Moyes is organising a reunion with one of his star youth players from the Manchester United days. He is looking into a possible loan move for 21 year old winger Adnan Januzaj as he looks to strengthen the perennial relegation candidates.

Raphael Varane – Staying at Real Madrid

23 year old centre back Raphael Varane has dismissed reports of a reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho and told a Spanish news outlet that he will be staying at Real Madrid this summer.
