Andros Townsend – Newcastle – Deal Close

Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur have finally come to an agreement over winger Andros Townsend after a long price-based stand off. The fee agreed is believed to be around £12 million, and the deal should be completed by tomorrow.

Emmanuel Adebayor – Crystal Palace – Deal Close

Emmanuel Adebayor is believed to be close to signing for Crystal Palace, and odds on him moving to Selhurst Park have been slashed to 1/6.

Alexandre Pato – Chelsea – Deal Close

A deal between Chelsea and Corinthians has finally been reached, and Alexandre Pato is set to move to Stamford Bridge on loan for the remainder of the season. Chelsea are expected to take up the option of a permanent transfer once the loan spell is complete.

Alex Teixeira – Liverpool

Sources believe that negotiations between Liverpool and Shakhtar Donetsk are still a long way off completion over the transfer of Alex Teixeira. Liverpool are believed to have offered £25 million for the prolific attacker, but Shakhtar want £10 million more.

Dwight Gayle – Swansea

Swansea are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Dwight Gayle this January, a deal which could see Bafetimbi Gomis leave South Wales for pastures new.

Alexandre Lacazette – Newcastle

Newcastle are thinking about launching another bid to sign Lyon’s star striker Alexandre Lacazette. The player was reported to have snubbed the north east club, but has since backtracked on those statements.

Loic Remy – Newcastle

Alternatively, Newcastle will swoop for Chelsea’s out of favour striker Loic Remy. The player is expected to be available for a loan move now that Alexandre Pato is on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Seydou Doumbia – Sunderland

Sunderland have been linked with AS Roma striker Seydou Doumbia now that the 28 year old forward has snubbed a move to China.
