Fresh from confidence-building continental victories in mid-week, Arsenal and Leicester return to the cut and thrust of the Premier League on Monday, in what promises to be a gripping clash between the clubs at the Emirates Stadium.

The Foxes, unbeaten in four of their last five meetings with Arsenal, have enjoyed plenty of success in this fixture in recent seasons, though the Gunners have become tougher to rattle, more disciplined outfit under the direction of Mikel Arteta this year.

Arsenal have yet to taste defeat on their own patch in the Premier League in 2020, and having out-thought Brendan Rodgers once already this term in the Carabao Cup, Arteta will be targeting another victory against his rival in the opposite dugout this evening.

Ahead of what promises to be an intriguing evening of football in the capital, we’ve dived head first into the stats to put together a cracking looking 20/1 Bet Builder with bet365. Check it out below!

Remember – you can find a more detailed analysis and more exclusive betting tips for the game in our Arsenal vs Leicester City predictions.

Arsenal vs Leicester City Bet Builder tips

Arsenal to win

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been one of the division’s most formidable teams at home in the Premier League in 2020, winning nine and drawing two of the 11 fixtures they’ve contested on their own patch since January 1st.

Leicester meanwhile have been mixing exhilarating highs with some baffling lows so far this term, though successive defeats to West Ham and Aston Villa are certain to have left their confidence at a low ebb, and Arsenal have sufficient momentum at home to take advantage.

Both teams to score

Arsenal have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League so far this season however, and having conceded in each of their last five home assignments in the division, we think a consolation goal for a Leicester team spearheaded by the big-game specialist Jamie Vardy is possible.

The Foxes scored at least once in 100% of their last six league encounters with the Gunners, and we fancy them to extend that impressive record on Monday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime

Talismanic forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hasn’t quite hit the goal-scoring groove in the Premier League so far this season, though his Europa League strike in Austria against Rapid Vienna on Thursday should help to sharpen his touch.

The Gabon international scored against Leicester when the Foxes last visited the Emirates in early-July and Auba hit the net twice when City played the Gunners in North London the previous season.

Nampalys Mendy to be booked

Leicester City anchorman Nampalys Mendy will be deployed as his team’s screening midfielder again on Monday, making him a prime candidate to be carded while carrying out his ball-winning and counter-attack disrupting duties.

Mendy has already been cautioned twice in just five Premier League appearances this term, and we think the hard-hitting Frenchman is worth backing to tackle his way into trouble again.

Over 9.0 total corners

Arsenal’s last Emirates meeting with Leicester in July produced a total of 11 corners, and the underlying numbers suggest we should expect the count to be similarly high when the teams renew acquaintances at the same venue on Monday evening.

Only three clubs have won more corners on average per game than Leicester City (6.2) so far this season, while both the Foxes and Arsenal finished among the Premier League’s top five clubs for total corners won over the course of the entire 2019/20 campaign.
