It’s hard not to feel the unwelcome presence of the international break after another great weekend of club football. However, the action isn’t quite over yet, with plenty going on in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The weekend rounds off with Liverpool’s trip to Aston Villa, which is looking trickier by the day after they lost Sadio Mane and Thiago Alcantara ahead of a clash with a newly strengthed Villa side. Will the Reds come through that test, or will it be Aston Villa who continue their 100% record so far?

Ahead of tonight’s game, we’ve rounded up some of the very best Price Boosts and VB Specials that Virgin Bet have to offer. You can also check out the rest of our betting tips and analysis on our Aston Villa vs Liverpool predictions.

Best Premier League Price Boosts and VB Specials

Alisson Mohamed Salah Liverpool

Mohamed Salah 3+ shots on target & Liverpool to win

Was 6/4 —> Now 2/1

Aston Villa’s defence has been improved this summer, which has led them to consecutive wins to nil. However, those victories were against Sheffield United and Fulham, two sides who have failed to score in the league so far. In those clashes, Villa conceded 20 shots on goal. Liverpool will offer a sterner test, with Mo Salah likely to be the focal point in the absence of Mane.

Liverpool have averaged over 20 shots per game and they’ve converted 14% of those chances. The Reds should still be strong enough to follow up their 2-1 victory at Aston Villa last season so we think 2/1 is good value for this bet.

Limited Availability. 90 mins only. ‘Was’ price correct as of 12:00pm on October 4th 2020. Max bet £20. Singles only. Prices subject to fluctuation. For full rules & exclusions click here. Bet Responsibly. BeGambleAware.org. 18+

Liverpool 10+ shots on target at 5/1

The Reds have averaged seven shots on target per game this term. That’s despite their opening three games seeing them face top-six rivals in Chelsea and Arsenal. With this encounter with Aston Villa expected to be an easier one for the Reds, you’d expect them to get plenty of chances.

However, Villa’s addition of Emiliano Martinez in goal could make it harder for the champions to find the net. If he’s on form, we could well see the Reds rack up shots on target in their bid to score at Villa Park.

Limited Availability. 90 mins only. Price correct as of 12:00pm on October 4th 2020. Max bet £20. Singles only. Prices subject to fluctuation. For full rules & exclusions click here. Bet Responsibly. BeGambleAware.org. 18+

Aston Villa's John McGinn vs Wolves

4+ goals, 2+ cards & 12+ corners at 5/1

The last six meetings between Aston Villa and Liverpool have seen 24 goals (four per game) and 11 bookings. Villa were shown three yellows in their opening game here against Sheffield United, in which John Egan was sent-off for the visitors.

Meanwhile, the pair have averaged a combined 16 corners per game so far this season, so a 5/1 offering for something which has routinely landed in clashes between the pair feels like good value. Given how the Premier League has been this season, going for goals also feels like a good way to approach this one.

Limited Availability. 90 mins only. Price correct as of 12:00pm on October 4th 2020. Max bet £20. Singles only. Prices subject to fluctuation. For full rules & exclusions click here. Bet Responsibly. BeGambleAware.org. 18+

Each team 2+ corners in each half at 7/2

Aston Villa are averaging seven corners per game, after getting 10 in their win over Sheffield United at home. Meanwhile, Liverpool are averaging nine per game in the league so far and should add to their total at Villa Park.

Only three clubs’ conceded more corners per game on average last season than Aston Villa (6.37) in the Premier League. However, the hosts have made set pieces a real strength in recent months and that’s a weapon they’ll try to utilise against the champions.

Limited Availability. 90 mins only. Price correct as of 12:00pm on October 4th 2020. Max bet £20. Singles only. Prices subject to fluctuation. For full rules & exclusions click here. Bet Responsibly. BeGambleAware.org. 18+
