There’s little doubt that the past weekend was the biggest for sport so far in 2023, with the day capped off by a thriller in Super Bowl LVII.

Here at FST we had plenty of tips covering the best action and there were a few near misses, as we were one leg short of landing our Leeds vs Manchester United Bet Builder, Sunday’s 35/1 Cross-Sport acca and a 13/1 both teams to score acca.

However, we did land a couple of notable winners, which you can read all about below!

We picked out four in-form forwards heading into Sunday’s action, kicking off with Man United’s Rashford in his visit to Elland Road. It took 80 minutes for United to make the breakthrough, but when they did that man Rashford continued his brilliant run with yet another goal.

Attention then turned to the second Super Sunday clash, where we had tipped Watkins to score in a victory for Man City. Not only did Watkins find the net, but we completed a sweep of pre-game tips in our free match predictions, landing 7/4, 9/2 and 11/1 winners!

Our final two picks came in Sunday evening’s European clashes, with former Arsenal striker Lacazette quickly landing the third leg of our tip. The Frenchman has been in fine form in Ligue 1 and he opened the scoring in what proved to be a 2-1 victory for Lyon over Lens.

That left Napoli’s Osimhen as the final man we were relying on and after the Partenopei’s blistering form we were confident. The Serie A leaders picked up yet another victory, as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Cremonese. It took 65 minutes, but Osimhen got his goal to complete a huge winner!

Even after Osimhen landed that huge acca, focus turned to our second potential winner. Our tip got off to a strong start earlier in the day, with Cologne delivering with a comprehensive 3-0 victory against Europa League holders Frankfurt.

In Italy, Juventus aren’t looking quite as inspired as Napoli and they toiled to a 1-0 win over Fiorentina, but Adrien Rabiot’s goal was enough to send this tip to Sunday evening’s games.

There was a bright start in each of our final two legs, with Zulte opening the scoring after just five minutes against Oostende. Then Pedri scored in the 18th minute for Barcelona, putting them up at Villarreal.

It took 75 minutes but Oostende finally equalised, leaving us just waiting on Barcelona. The Catalan side held on to strengthen their lead at the top of La Liga, with that win delivering our second acca win in the space of an hour!
