Following Jurgen Klopp’s announcement that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, we asked our team of experts how many trophies the German manager will claim in his final campaign at Anfield.

Klopp has won eight trophies during his eight years with Liverpool but hasn’t won any competition twice, and the Europa League is missing from his collection as the Reds lost out in the 2016 Final.

Liverpool are 9/4 to win the Premier League with bet365, 1/2 to lift the EFL Cup, 3/1 to land the FA Cup and 9/4 for Europa League glory. New customers can take advantage of bet365’s sign-up offer using the button below.

How many trophies will Liverpool win this season?

Phil Agius

It’s easy to get carried away by potential multiple trophy triumphs at this stage of the season but the sensible answer is probably only one.

The Reds are favourites for the EFL Cup and the Europa League, but there’s a long way to go in the European competition and Chelsea, who have far fewer distractions, won’t be easily dismissed in a one-off game.

Manchester City should have their big guns back to come with a late rattle in the Premier League and the FA Cup may see Klopp having to risk weaker line-ups if they are still involved in the title battle. While they have a great chance to pick up something, expecting more than one trophy may be pushing it.

Henry Hardwicke

I think Liverpool will falter in the Premier League title race and I fancy Chelsea to do a job on the Reds in the final of the EFL Cup. Jurgen Klopp’s men have a nice fifth round FA Cup draw, but Man City, Newcastle and Chelsea or Aston Villa are all likely to make it through to quarter-finals and Liverpool don’t look booked for that trophy either.

The Reds are favourites to win the Europa League and the combined prices will tell you that Klopp’s side will get at least one trophy in the cabinet by the end of the campaign. However, I think it may only be one.

Tom Hill

Liverpool will be eager to give departing manager Jurgen Klopp the perfect send-off, and while they have a talented squad, a quadruple is so difficult in the modern game due to the intense fixture programme.

The Reds only need to beat Chelsea to win the Carabao Cup, while the FA Cup draw has worked in their favour thanks to their win over Arsenal and Manchester City’s narrow success over Tottenham.

While a domestic cup double is more than possible, it is tough to see Liverpool winning more than two trophies in Klopp’s final campaign. The Europa League is packed with quality this season, while the Citizens are getting their best players back fit to defend their league crown.

James Mason

Jurgen Klopp’s departure at the end of the season will give the squad extra motivation to end his tenure on a high but the season may not end the way Liverpool are hoping for. I still think Man City will clinch the Premier League title, while there are enough strong teams left in the FA Cup to have doubts that success can be achieved here. The Europa League is stacked with quality and this journey may also prove fruitless, so the League Cup may be the only trophy coming the Reds’ way, as they prepare to face Chelsea in the final.

William Maxwell

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that the announcement of his departure at the end of the season will galvanise his squad into giving the German “one last hurrah” in lifting a trophy or two. His Liverpool side have already qualified for the Carabao Cup final and should be expected to beat Chelsea for his first triumph. The return of Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City could be pivotal in the title race and I do believe that the Citizens will pip the Reds to this and the FA Cup, but I would be surprised if Klopp did not end his Liverpool tenure with lifting the Europa League.

Tom McGarry

Jurgen Klopp’s fairy-tale ending as Liverpool manager would be to lift four trophies and they are worthy favourites to see off Chelsea to land the Carabao Cup.

The Reds also have a favourable draw in the FA Cup fifth round and a repeat of their two domestic cup successes of 2022 is a real possibility.

Beyond that, it will be tough for Liverpool to see off the challenge of Manchester City and co in the Premier League and go all the way in a stacked Europa League, but stranger things have happened and some kind of treble is certainly not beyond them.

James Milton

Klopp’s announcement was a shock but I don’t expect Liverpool’s standards to drop and a repeat of their 2021-22 domestic cup double is a possibility.

They should be too slick for Chelsea in the EFL Cup final and have a nice draw in the FA Cup fifth round, having already won at Arsenal in round three.

The Reds may come up short in the Premier League, however, as Manchester City remain worthy favourites for the title and Klopp’s men look too short in the Europa League betting given the depth of the competition.
