Scott McTominay to have one or more shots on target
Scott McTominay has been used sparingly in the Europa League but could well be handed a start against Sevilla now we’ve reached the latter stages of this competition. McTominay has been in good scoring form of late and he managed his first league goal of the season in the win over Everton last time out, having hit four goals for Scotland during the international break in two games. McTominay has one goal in the Europa League, and can at least test the keeper on Thursday.
Ivan Rakitic to have one or more shots on target
Ivan Rakitic was left on the bench by Sevilla at the weekend and that suggests they were saving the veteran’s legs for this European assignment. Rakitic is averaging 2.0 shoots-per-game in this competition with 0.5 of those on target and a further 0.5 blocked, so at a big price the Croatian appeals to manage at least one on target.
Youssef En-Nesyri to be shown a card
Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri is a reasonable outside contender to be shown a card as he has picked up four yellow cards in 24 La Liga games this season. The Moroccan is averaging 1.0 fouls-per-game in this competition and could well fall foul of the referee if he gets involved in a few physical battles with the United defenders.
