Just a week after FST landed a massive 15 tips in one day, the lads were at it again with a host of winners over the weekend including two Both Teams to Score & Win accumulators, an overnight acca and some nice winners from across the pond!

Huge Friday kicks the weekend off in style

Our 19/1 BTTS & Win double kicked off on Friday evening and the weekend couldn’t have gotten off to a much better start. Here’s what we tipped:

• Schalke and BTTS (vs Hertha Berlin)
• Lyon and BTTS (at Toulouse)

And the results:

• Schalke 5-2 Hertha Berlin
• Toulouse 1-2 Lyon

Starting off in Germany, things went very smoothly as Schalke raced to a two-goal lead inside 15 minutes, while a goal late in the first half for Hertha Berlin put us on the right track. A third goal for Schalke early in the second half put our minds at ease but the goalscoring continued in this 5-2 thriller. Things were less of a smooth ride in France, however.

A first-half Alexandre Lacazette penalty put Lyon ahead at Toulouse and the hosts’ struck back almost instantly to put our tip in a very solid position, but an incredibly frustrating second half followed as Lyon struggled to break the underdogs down. Eventually, in the 88th minute, Toulouse centre back Logan Costa put the ball in his own net to send FST HQ into raptures!

That was far from the only winner on Friday, though.

If you thought our tasty winner on Friday was the biggest of the weekend, think again!

Our BTTS & Win specialists were on form again on Sunday as three defensively-frail winners were lined up. Here’s the tips:

• Ajax and BTTS (vs Emmen)
• Marseille and BTTS (vs Troyes)
• LAFC and BTTS (at LA Galaxy)

And the results:

• Marseille 3-1 Troyes
• Ajax 3-1 Emmen
• LA Galaxy 2-3 LAFC

We had a nervy time in France on Friday and Sunday’s trip to Ligue 1 was no less nail-biting. Marseille flew to a 3-0 lead over Troyes and were coasting through the remainder of the match, but an injury-time consolation for Troyes, against the run of play, kept our hopes alive.

By this time, Ajax were already 2-0 up against Emmen and when the visitors pulled one back just before the hour mark we knew we were in with a shout.

As proceedings in Amsterdam drew to a close, kick-off approached in California for the big Los Angeles derby. Ex-Arsenal striker Carlos Vela put LAFC ahead and a 41st minute goal for the hosts left us in a fantastic position heading into the second half. Vela was the hero again, converting a 68th minute penalty before assisting another goal two minutes later and all but sealing the deal for LAFC and for FST. What a ride!
