The World Cup has been a life saver in filling the void left by the end of the Premier League season, and now that the tournament has ended we have just under a month until the new Premier League campaign kicks off on the 10th August.

Between now and then every Premier League club will be in action in their pre-season friendlies. They will travel around the globe to promote their brand, while the managers will be keen to build fitness, bed in any new signings, and try out new tactical approaches. From Ashton Gate to Los Angeles and everywhere in between, here are all the pre-season fixtures to look forward to in the next month:

Leicester vs Arsenal predictions, free betting tips and match preview

New manager Unai Emery will take his squad on a quick trip to Singapore for the International Champions Cup this month, before returning closer to home and playing their last ICC fixture in Dublin. After that it’s a quick trip to Stockholm a week before their Premier League campaign gets underway.

Brighton have already completed their overseas ventures this pre-season playing out a 1-1 draw with St Gallen in Switzerland last weekend. Now, their attentions turn closer to home as they conduct the rest of their affairs in the UK.

New manager Maurizzio Sarri will begin life at the helm of Chelsea with a long round trip to Australia to face A-League side Perth Glory, with The Blues then set to take part in the International Champions Cup. Their competitive schedule starts with their Community Shield clash with Manchester City, and their final ICC fixture takes place just three days before the Premier League season kicks off.

After a quick trip over the Sweden earlier this month The Eagles have landed back on UK soil for the remainder of their pre-season preparations. They will face a number of lower league clubs before hosting Toulouse a week before the start of the new season, with a final blast out against Kingstonian taking place in between.

Fresh off the back of an absurd 22-0 thumping of ATV Irdning in Marco Silva’s first match in charge of Everton, the Toffees return to the UK briefly before a quick tour of Portugal. They end their pre-season preparations with a hosting of Valencia at Goodison Park.

Aston Villa vs Fulham Predictions

Newly promoted Fulham have taken the perhaps risky decision to limit their pre-season playing time. They have already played two games earlier this month, but unlike most other teams they have scheduled just four more before the start of the season, including a quick trip over the English Channel to face Fenerbahce and Lyon in France.

Huddersfield are spending the majority of their pre-season preparations travelling around manager David Wagner’s home nation of Germany facing a number of German clubs, as well as playing in the Interwetten Cup at the weekend. They make a brief trip back to home soil before heading off to Austria to end their preparations.

Pep Guardiola’s men will spend the entirety of their pre-season across the pond in the United States, playing a trio of International Champions Cup fixtures before jetting back across the Atlantic to play in the Community Shield a week before the defence of their Premier League crown begins.

Jose Mourinho has taken a different approach to his old rival in pre-season opting instead for a very heavy fixture list that also includes the International Champions Cup. The vast majority of this will take place in the United States, although The Red Devils finish their pre-season campaign in Munich.
