      Hibernian to Win

      Reason for tip

Hibernian can build on last week’s emphatic 4-0 win over Livingston and end Aberdeen’s revival at Pittodrie. The visitors have scored at least twice in five of their eight Premiership games, while Aberdeen have failed to net in three of their last four at home. Hibs’ sharper attack should be enough to edge this one.

      Hibernian 2-1

      Reason for tip

A 2-1 Hibernian win looks the most likely outcome. Aberdeen have managed just one home victory all season and remain defensively fragile, while Hibs’ recent boost in confidence and scoring form gives them the upper hand. Expect a competitive clash but one the visitors can narrowly take.

Hibernian Backed to Halt Aberdeen’s Home Run

Hibernian can put an end to Aberdeen’s winning streak when they visit Pittodrie on Sunday. David Gray’s side enjoyed a lopsided win in their most recent Premiership outing and they can get the better of Jimmy Thelin’s team.

Hibernian ended their six-game winless run in the Premiership last weekend, beating Livingston 4-0 at home. Thibault Klidje opened the scoring in the ninth minute and Junior Hoilett grabbed two goals, with Jamie McGrath also getting on the scoresheet. The win was Hibernian’s second in the five matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

Hibernian are eight places above Aberdeen in the table, but just four points separate the two sides. Hibernian, who are third with two wins, five draws and one defeat, host Aberdeen, who sit 11th with two wins, one draw and five losses.

The home side have looked vulnerable at the back.

Aberdeen’s recent Premiership form has been inconsistent, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six games. They beat St Mirren and Dundee, but also lost 2-0 to tenth-placed Motherwell.

The visitors have the edge up front. Aberdeen are without a goal in three of their last four Premiership home games, but Hibernian have scored two goals or more in five of their eight league games this season.

A 2-1 win for Hibernian looks like a decent correct-score option. Aberdeen have been poor at home, where they have won one and lost two, while Hibernian have won one, drawn two and lost one on the road.
