Verona to continue scoring streak

The best bet is both teams to score in Milan’s home game against Verona on Sunday. The visitors have found the net in seven of their last eight Serie A games.

Milan are second in the league, 16 places and 20 points above Verona. The visitors are 18th with just two wins so far, while Milan have won nine of their 15 games this season.

Both teams have been leaking goals. Milan have conceded an average of 1.29 goals a game in their seven Serie A games against bottom-half teams this season, while Verona have shipped two goals a game in their seven matches against top-half sides.

Verona had lost four of their previous six Serie A games before their 2-1 win over Fiorentina two weeks ago, and will have been happy with the three points having been priced at 16/5 to win the game. Gift Orban struck twice, including the opener in the 42nd minute. They have won two of the ten games this season in which they’ve shipped the first goal (20%).

Both teams to score has been a winner in five of Milan’s eight Serie A home games, with the hosts scoring in all eight. Nine of Verona’s 15 matches in the league this season have seen both teams score.

Milan may be able to edge out Verona in a close encounter, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Both sides have found the net in Verona’s last four Serie A matches and Milan have beaten them by a single goal in four of the last six clashes.
