Akropolis IF vs Falkenbergs FF Predictions
- Six of Akropolis’ seven games this term have produced under 2.5 goals.
- Giannis Christopoulos’ side have netted just four goals in total, while Falkenberg have managed just six goals in their seven starts.
- The hosts have drawn four of their league matches to date including two from three at Spanga IP.
Lack of action expected at Spanga IP
With both of these sides in poor form and struggling up front, a low scoring affair looks in prospect when Akropolis entertain Falkenberg at Spanga IP this weekend.
Akropolis had a decent campaign in 2020 to finish fifth, but they’re bottom of the early Superettan standings this time around after failing to win any of their opening seven games (D4, L3).
Goals have been a major problem for Giannis Christopoulos’ charges with just four netted thus far and it’s difficult to fancy them as favourites here, despite Falkenberg’s dismal start to life back in the second tier.
After relegation from the Allsvenskan last term, Hans Eklund’s side don’t exactly look like making an imminent return following five defeats in seven, and they too have only managed to score six times across their opening fixtures.
This should be a nervy contest with little attacking quality on display based on what we’ve seen so far this season, and under 2.5 goals is recommended.
That’s been the case in all but one of Akropolis’ seven league starts and with four of those ending level, we’re also opting for a 1-1 correct score.
