Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Betting Tips

It’s not looking good for Arsenal at the moment. They may have managed to recover from an opening day defeat in the Premier League to West Ham, but their poor start in the Champions League wasn’t so easily overturned.

They lost away to Dinamo Zagreb in the opening match of Champions League Group F and followed this up with another defeat at home to Olympiakos.

This leaves them at the bottom of Group F, and with two matches against group favourites Bayern Munich still to play they will have to be at their very best to salvage their dismal start to their European campaign.

They have won four of their last five games in all competitions though, with that defeat to Olympiakos being the only blip in an otherwise impressive streak of results which has seen them score 15 goals.

It’s not quite as good as Bayern Munich’s record though. The reigning Bundesliga champions are still enjoying a perfect competitive start to their season.

They have won all nine of their Bundesliga games so far and beat Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb in their opening two group games of the Champions League.

They have scored eight and conceded none in these two games, and when you add in a Bundesliga record of 29 goals scored and just four conceded you start to realise just how good Pep Guardiola’s side are.

It’s going to be very difficult for the Gunners to get anything from this game, especially since they have lost their last two home matches against Bayern Munich.

I’m expecting the Bundesliga champions to get a win on Tuesday to keep their perfect record going, and odds of 19/20 for an away win look like really good value considering the form they are in. I also fancy a 3-1 correct scoreline bet at 12/1.
