Barcelona and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Barcelona have won their last nine home games with both teams scoring in six. Meanwhile, Copenhagen have lost three of their last five away games with both teams scoring in the last couple.

Barcelona 4-2

Reason for tip

A repeat of Barca’s 4-2 win in Prague last week could be on the cards if Barca lose some control of the midfield without De Jong and Pedri.

Flick’s side eye automatic qualification

Barcelona can book their place among the automatic qualifiers for the round of 16 when they take on Copenhagen in their final league phase fixture. Hansi Flick’s side are going well at home and have bounced back well from their 3-0 defeat at Chelsea in November.

A 2-1 home win over Eintracht Frankfurt in December pretty much ensured their progress before a 4-2 victory over Slavia in Prague put them on the cusp of the top eight again.

This European campaign has been anything but plain sailing, however, and they probably still need to win this game to escape a cluster of sides locked on 13 points.

Danes can benefit from Barca’s missing midfield stars

Copenhagen, who have only won two of their seven games so far, are unlikely to stop them in their tracks – particularly at Camp Nou. The Danes did hold Napoli to a draw last time out and still have an outside chance of a play-off spot.

Barca are missing a couple of key midfielders for this clash with Frenkie de Jong and Pedri absent, but there is enough firepower in their ranks to score a hatful of goals again. Lacking some control in midfield could mean this match is more open than Barca would want and brings both teams to score into the equation.

The Blaugrana have won their last nine home games with both teams scoring in six, so that looks like the standout bet here with the potential for another 4-2 victory worth considering in correct score betting.
