In form Udinese worth keeping on side
Udinese are unbeaten in their last nine league meetings with Genoa and we’re backing that trend to continue at Stadio Luigi Ferraris this Saturday evening.
La Zebrette have won six of those encounters including their 1-0 victory at Stadio Friulli in November’s reverse fixture and current form points towards a repeat here, with Udinese unbeaten in their last four Serie A fixtures following an impressive 2-0 success over Sassuolo last time out.
In contrast, Genoa are without a win in five Serie A starts (D3, L2) – a run which has seen them slip down to 13th and five points behind their opponents this weekend. Both results and performances have started to tail off after Davide Ballardini’s fourth term as manager began promisingly and it’s hard to envisage the hosts taking all three points in this one.
Nonetheless, Genoa are still unbeaten in seven at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, drawing four including their last two outings. So while the visitors are fancied to edge this via a 0-1 score-line, we’re taking the Draw No Bet line with La Zebrette to provide some insurance.
