Bayern Munich vs Arsenal Betting Tips

It’s been a classically Bayern Munich display so far this season, with them absolutely dominant in the Bundesliga and sitting at the top of their Champions League group.

But Arsenal became the first team to stop them from winning when they faced them in the Champions League a few weeks ago, with a 2-0 win at the Emirates shocking the footballing world.

This was the first time they had conceded more than once in a game this season, and the first game they had failed to score and win as well. Since then they have dropped their first points in the Bundesliga, with a 0-0 draw away to Eintracht Frankfurt halting their domestic winning streak.

They are still top of the Bundesliga by a stretch though. Their 31 points from 11 games is five points more than 2^nd placed Borussia Dortmund have managed.

Arsenal’s win against Bayern Munich saved their sinking Champions League campaign, with that impressive victory coming after losses to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos.

They have been very impressive at times this season, with a dominant 3-0 win against Manchester United, a 5-2 victory at Leicester, and that 2-0 win over Bayern Munich being the highlights of the season so far.

But there have been some low points as well, including a 3-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup and those two Champions League losses.

Bayern Munich haven’t beaten Arsenal in Germany since 2005, with Arsenal winning one and drawing the other of Bayern’s last two home matches against them.

It all depends on which Arsenal turns up on Wednesday. If it’s the same one that showed their faces against Bayern Munich or Manchester United then they have a good chance of getting a really impressive result. However, if it’s the side that played against Sheffield Wednesday then they could get thrashed.

But odds of 2/1 for an Arsenal Win or Draw Double Chance look too good value to turn down, so I’m putting some money on that and a 1-1 draw at 17/2.
