Dortmund are keeping pace with the champions

Bayern finished 16 points clear of Borussia Dortmund in claiming their 13th Bundesliga title in the last 14 years last season, and early evidence suggests BVB may serve up the biggest challenge to the brilliant Bavarians again.

Bayern and Dortmund have both taken 17 points from their opening seven games, each unbeaten with five wins and two draws, and goals tend to be a common theme in this fixture.

Olise could outshine Kane

Bayern have also scored ten goals in their three Champions League outings, which includes a 2-2 draw with Premier League champions Arsenal, and they are happy to be embroiled in end-to-end affairs.

With Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz helping to form a potent front three, Bayern should have all bases covered.

Dortmund, spearheaded by Serhou Guirassy and ably assisted by Felix Nmecha and Maximilian Beier, have players that can hurt Bayern and they should play their part in a thriller.
