Seasiders can take down Terriers

Blackpool have made a stuttering start to the season, but they should be backed to beat Huddersfield at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

Blackpool finished ninth last season, just ahead of Huddersfield in tenth. The hosts achieved 67 points from 17 wins, 16 draws and 13 losses, while their visitors ended the campaign with 64 points, having won 19 and lost 20 games.

The Tangerines had high hopes for the new season, but have opened up with back-to-back losses to Stevenage (3-2) and Exeter (4-1), while their opponents have claimed six points with wins over Leyton Orient and Reading.

However, Steve Bruce’s men were sent off as 6/5 shots against Exeter, and it would be no surprise if they bounce back against a Huddersfield team who lost seven of their last eight away games of last season.

Blackpool may be able to edge out Huddersfield in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Seven of Huddersfield’s last nine League One games have had three or more goals, and 14 of their 20 losses last season were via a single goal.
