Opponents Levante, meanwhile, have won two of their last three games, and lost just one of their last four on home turf, but remain four points from safety after their abysmal start to the campaign. With plenty of tough games remaining, Alessio Lisci’s team have been forced to attack in recent weeks. They have been rewarded with goals in each of their last 11 matches, including eight across their last three games, but have seen both teams score in seven of their last nine.

Both teams to score a strong play with both sides looking unreliable

Considering the dire predicament in which Levante still find themselves and the poor recent form of Lopetegui’s men, punters may be best advised to neglect the win markets and to find alternative value for Thursday.

With both teams scoring in seven of Levante’s last nine, Sevilla seeing 11 goals netted in their last two games, and the two sides playing out an eight-goal thriller back in October, backing goals at both ends looks a strong play.

Furthermore, although a repeat of Sevilla’s earlier 5-3 win looks a long shot, the visitors need to make their quality tell if they are to remain on course for the top-four, making a 2-1 away win look a decent correct score prediction.
