Boca Juniors vs Colon Predictions

Monday’s Superliga Argentina action sees Boca Juniors doing battle with Colon de Santa Fe. The hosts will be desperate to pick up a win after a terrible week.

As Boca boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto is learning; it doesn’t take too long for pressure to mount in the El Xeneize dugout. Indeed, even when Boca were winning, Schelotto had come under fire, with the side’s football not quite as easy on the eye as you’d expect given the talent they undoubtedly posses. Colon’s prospects really do not look the brightest ahead of kick off in the capital. Boss Eduardo Dominguez has some good players on his books and has done a good job in his stint with the club, but things simply aren’t clicking at the moment, particularly on the road, where the visitors have lost their last 3 matches and have scored just once in 4 trips.

Ultimately, although neither side will be at full strength with eyes on midweek continental action, Boca’s squad is a far deeper one, with the players set to come in of comparable quality to those being rested, something which cannot be said of Colon’s rotation.
