Bordeaux vs Nice Predictions

• Bordeaux have not kept a home clean sheet in Ligue 1 this season
• Half of Nice’s last six games have seen both teams score

Bordeaux fighting for survival

It is almost unthinkable that Bordeaux, who have been in France’s top flight since the 1960s, could be relegated, but with four games left, they are six points from safety.

The defence has been a clear issue for David Guion’s side, who have not kept a home clean sheet this season, conceding 32 goals over 17 games.

But they have picked up some decent results at Matmut Atlantique of late, beating Metz and Strasbourg during a run of two defeats in six where both teams have netted in each game they have not lost.

Nice struggling on the road

Nice could still qualify for the Champions League this season, but they are going to have to turn around a poor run of form away from home where they are without a win in six, failing to score in five of those games.

Both teams have netted in three of their last six at all venues though, while if they want to end that goal drought, a flaky Bordeaux defence should be the perfect opposition.

Christophe Galtier’s side have still picked up some handy draws on the road though, including against PSG, Strasbourg and Montpellier, so it would be wrong to write them off.

I think both teams will score in this game, despite Nice’s poor attacking statistics of late, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
