Tip Reasoning

  • Bradford have only kept three clean sheets in their last 24 games
  • Harrogate have netted in seven of their last 12 away matches
  • Both teams have scored in 12 of City’s 15 league fixtures at Valley Parade

Bradford struggling despite manager sacking

Life without Derek Adams barely looked any different for Bradford as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat against struggling Oldham on Saturday, extending a poor defensive run to just one clean sheet in seven games.

In truth, the Bantams have had struggled at the back all season. Both teams have scored in 80% of their matches at Valley Parade, where they have only failed to score twice, but won on just four occasions.

That illustrates they are strong in the final third, but they have picked up just one victory in their last 10 on home soil in the league, drawing on seven occasions.

Harrogate out of form

Things have not been plain sailing for Harrogate of late either. They are six without a win away from home, losing on five occasions, and have not kept a clean sheet in 20 attempts.

At the other end, despite scoring three against Exeter and Rochdale in their last two, they have picked up just one point from an available six, with both teams scoring in three successive fixtures.

Simon Weaver’s side have actually won five times in their 15 away league games, while there have been 50 goals scored across those matches.

There should be goals in this one, and plenty of them. I predict both teams will score, and select 2-2 as a correct score prediction.
