Cagliari a tough test

Cagliari have been in decent goalscoring form recently and they could cause some issues for this Milan team when the two sides do battle on Friday.

After a poor run in October and November which saw them go ten games without a win, the hosts lost just once in four December Serie A outings, beating Roma and Torino along the way.

They face a tough challenge against Milan however, who are unbeaten in their seven away games in the league and currently sit second in the Italian top flight.

Milan suffered disappointment in the recent Suppercoppa semi-finals against Napoli, losing 2-0 and have also been dumped out of the Coppa Italia.

With no European football their full focus will be on winning their first Serie A title since 2022.
