Celta Vigo Tipped to Sink Struggling Sociedad

Celta Vigo should be backed to beat Real Sociedad at home in Primera Liga on Sunday. The visitors have struggled at the back this season and Celta manager Claudio Giraldez will be hopeful of getting a positive result against Sergio Francisco’s side.

Both teams are at the wrong end of the table, with Celta Vigo three places above Real Sociedad. Celta are 16th with no wins and two losses from their eight games, while Real have won once and lost five. Real Sociedad’s current form is underwhelming. They have lost six of their last seven Primera Liga away games and have sustained two successive reverses. They have won just one of their last nine matches.

Celta Vigo will fancy their chances of scoring here. They have found the net in 18 of their last 20 Primera Liga games and have scored in seven consecutive matches.

Celta Vigo to win 1-0 at home looks like a decent correct-score option. Seven of the last eight Primera Liga meetings between these two have gone under 2.5 goals and Celta Vigo were 1-0 winners last time they met.
