I quite fancy the Spireites to come through and win promotion and they can make the perfect start to their play-off bid by beating Notts County in the first leg at the SMH Group Stadium.

The Magpies edged out Chesterfield on penalties in the National League play-off final in 2023 but since then the tables have turned. The hosts won both league meetings this season, 2-0 at home and 3-2 away, and they claimed four points from the two games against Notts County last season.

Lee Bonis finished the season as Chesterfield’s top scorer and he comes into Sunday’s first leg in fine form. Bonis ended the campaign with four goals in the final four games, including three strikes in his side’s last two home fixtures, so he looks a solid pick for an anytime effort.
