Champions can edge out frustrating Kortrijk

Club Brugge can justify the short odds about them winning at home to a capable Kortrijk side this weekend, although it probably won’t be as straightforward as it should be.

The visitors are a frustrating outfit that can be dangerous from set pieces and their formula proved successful when they won 1-0 at Antwerp early in the season. That remains their best result of the campaign, since when they have lost to two other top five clubs in the table, so it’s clear they are not quite ready to challenge the Belgian elite just yet.
