Evenly match game expected in Georgian capital

Dinamo Tblisi have enjoyed a good domestic so far, sitting two points behind current leaders Dinamo Batumi after 21 games. They have scored at a rate of well over a goal a game and conceded less than a goal a game in what has been an impressive campaign thus far. Last season they took part in the Europa League qualifiers but were dumped out following a heavy loss to Klalsvik, a side from the Faroe Islands, and they will be hoping for more this year.

Neftchi Baku faced much tougher opponents at the same stage last season and were also defeated handily with Turkish side, Galatasaray beating them 3-1. Their domestic season has yet to get started but they won the league by two points, beating close rivals Qarabag. They too scored in excess of a goal a game domestically and lost just five times in 28 games.

This match looks as though it should be a very close one with neither side looking substantially better than the other. With that in mind, we’re predicting this match to end in a draw with these two sides largely cancelling each other out. Both sides are able to find the net however and we can’t see the tie remaining scoreless. We’re forecasting a 1-1 final score between the sides with Baku being the happier of the two with that result.
