Goals on the cards at Tannadice

St Mirren have scored at least twice in five of their last seven Premiership games and both teams have scored in six of their last eight matches, so there should be goals for both sides when they visit Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday.

Dundee United are fifth in the Premiership, one place above St Mirren, with a five-point advantage. United have won 14 of their 35 games this season, while St Mirren have come out on top in 13.

Dundee United have been in patchy form recently, with three wins and three defeats in their last six Premiership games, but they have won the last three head-to-heads against St Mirren. 

St Mirren were 1-0 winners against Aberdeen last weekend, but have failed to win any of their last three away games.

A 2-1 win for Dundee United is the correct-score pick. Six of St Mirren’s last eight Premiership games have featured over 2.5 goals and United have won two of the last three meetings with St Mirren by a single goal.
