Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich Predictions
- Bayern have won all nine of their games this season.
- Bayern have won their last five games by two or more goals.
- Frankfurt lost 5-1 at Atletico Madrid in their midweek Champions League game.
Bayern can overpower Frankfurt
Deutsche Bank Park has been a tough hunting ground for Bayern Munich in recent seasons and they are winless in their last two trips to this venue (D1, L1), but they can end that run in style when they head to Eintracht Frankfurt for Saturday’s late Bundesliga game.
Bayern have started the season in impressive fashion with nine wins in as many games across all competitions. The Bavarian giants have scored 22 goals in just five Bundesliga games and they come into the clash after a 5-1 win over Paphos in Cyprus in the Champions League.
Frankfurt were also involved in a game with a 5-1 scoreline in midweek as they were heavily beaten at Atletico Madrid. They also made a strong start to the season but their form has dipped since with three defeats in their last five across all competitions, and they look suspect defensively as they shipped four late goals in a 6-4 win at Borussia Monchengladbach in the last round of Bundesliga games.
Gladbach had only scored one goal in total across their four previous league games before last weekend, and with Bayern in fine form they look capable of beating a -1 handicap on Saturday.
Frankfurt have conceded at least four goals in three successive games and have shipped 11 goals in total across their last three domestic fixtures. As such, a 4-1 win for Bayern is the correct score pick as Die Adler are yet to draw a blank this season and they can at least keep that run going.
Harry Kane has scored 10 of Bayern’s 22 league goals and the England striker is the obvious choice for an anytime effort on Saturday. Kane has scored in eight of Bayern’s nine games across all competitions and has 11 goals in total in his last five games, and he can continue his hot streak in Frankfurt.
