Eintracht Frankfurt to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Eintracht Frankfurt’s games have been entertaining this season, with eight of their 11 Bundesliga matches featuring three or more goals, and that trend can continue against a hapless Wolfsburg, who have lost eight of their last nine across all competitions.

      Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1

      Reason for tip

Wolfsburg have conceded exactly three goals in four of their last six Bundesliga games, two of which have finished 3-1, and that trend can continue when they visit free-scoring Eintracht Frankfurt

      Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg Predictions

      • There have been 49 goals scored across Eintracht Frankfurt’s 11 Bundesliga matches.
      • Wolfsburg have lost eight of their last nine games in all competitions.
      • The visitors have conceded exactly three goals in four of their last six Bundesliga games

Frankfurt too strong for floundering Wolfsburg

Eintracht Frankfurt may have lost in the Champions League during the week, but they are unbeaten in their last five Bundesliga matches and should prove too strong for an out-of-form Wolfsburg on home soil.

Wolfsburg have lost four matches on the spin and eight of their last nine across all competitions, a sequence that has seen them slip to just a point and place above the relegation play-off position heading into the weekend..

Paul Simonis was sacked as head coach earlier this month, but interim boss Daniel Bauer lost his first match in charge against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend and another defeat could be on the cards for Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Goals to flow in high-scoring clash

Frankfurt have been the great entertainers in the Bundesliga this season, with their 11 matches featuring an eye-watering 49 goals – only leaders Bayern Munich can match that tally.

Dino Toppmoller’s side have scored 27 of those themselves, including four in last weekend’s 4-3 win at Cologne, which represented the eighth time this season that a Frankfurt league fixture has featured at least three goals.

Wolfsburg’s last three matches have also gone above that mark, but they have all ended in defeat.

Die Wolfe have conceded exactly three goals in four of their last six Bundesliga games, two of which have finished 3-1, and they could be on the receiving end of a similar outcome when they head to Deutsche Bank Park.
