England Women vs Norway Women Predictions
- England are currently on their longest ever unbeaten run (15 games).
- England kept clean sheets in five of their last six games.
- Norway failed to win five of the last seven H2H encounters.
- England knocked Norway out of the last two World Cups.
The Lionesses can roar to victory
While England got off to a winning start at the Euros, boss Sarina Wiegman conceded that her side should have scored more goals from their dominant 15 shots on target.
England and Manchester City star Lauren Hemp was causing problems all over the pitch while better placement from Ellen White could have seen England pull clear, so an improvement on that may well see England overcome their biggest challenge in the group as Norway make the trip to Brighton’s Amex Stadium.
Wiegman’s charges enter this on a current 15 game unbeaten run, the Lionesses best ever unbeaten streak. However, they welcome a Norway side that ran out victorious in two of the last three H2Hs, which goes some way to explaining the backable price on the W-D-W market.
Norway will provide a stern test
Now on a six-game winning streak, Norway enter this clash expecting to upset the applecart, yet we predict that England will simply have too much in the tank for the Grasshoppers to deal with.
We are backing England in the win & BTTS market to add further value to the win, with a smaller stakes punt on a 2-1 scoreline, the same final result as in two of their last three H2H victories.
