Lithuania aim to build on opening win

Lithuania made a winning start to their Nations League campaign on Thursday, beating Liechtenstein 2-0 as they begin their push for promotion from the bottom tier.

The hosts failed to win a match in 2025, but they did have some encouraging home displays. They pushed the Netherlands in a 3-2 home defeat, while they also saw both teams score in home and away meetings with Finland.

Azerbaijan have made a positive start to 2026, losing only one of their first five matches after putting together a kind run of games. They beat Tajikistan 1-0 earlier this week, while BTTS landed in their clashes with San Marino, Sierra Leone and Saint Lucia across the last six months.

The visitors have kept only one clean sheet in 16 internationals, while the hosts have won once twice since September 2024. Both sides should have confidence to get forward, so BTTS appeals at odds-against.
