Estonia vs Lithuania Betting Tips

Estonia will be ruing the fact that they couldn’t manage to claim a perfect six points against Group E whipping boys San Marino.

They could only manage a goalless draw against the minnows when away from home, and considering they are only two points off 3^rd place in the group that failure could prove very important in the race for 3^rd place.

Other than that goalless draw, they have won two of their other five matches, with a 1-0 win over Slovenia and a 2-0 win at home to San Marino upping their points tally amid three losses.

One of these losses was against Lithuania, a 1-0 on Lithuanian soil thanks to a goal in the last 20 minutes.

Despite this, the visitors are still below them in the table with six points from six games. They still have a home match against San Marino to play though, which is an almost guaranteed win against the side that have yet to score in the competition.

Defensively, Lithuania have been pretty shocking. They have lost 4-0 three times in their last six games in all competitions, and also managed to concede twice at home to Malta.

But fortunately for them Estonia aren’t good going forward at all. They have only three goals so far, with two of those coming against San Marino at home.

This takes Estonia and Lithuania’s combined scoring record to just seven goals in 12 matches, so we’re not expecting a goal-fest on Saturday.

This is backed up by the history between the sides. None of their last five meetings have seen more than two goals scored, with three of them seeing a single, lonely goal netted.

Unsurprisingly, this leaves odds for Under 2.5 Goals looking very short. However, odds of 6/5 for Under 1.5 Goals offer some value, so that looks like the best bet.
