      Everton vs Aston Villa Predictions

Everton have done fairly well this season as they look to improve on their disappointing season last term.

Their only losses have come against top quality opposition, with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal being the only teams to get the better of them.

They have managed to beat the out of form Chelsea along with three other teams, with five draws making up the remainder of their 12 results. This leaves them in 9th position with 17 points, and a win on Saturday could send them up to 7th.

They drew 1-1 against West Ham last time out, but their last match at Goodison Park was a 6-2 mauling of Sunderland, making it three wins from their last five home matches in all competitions.

They will be confident of adding to this record on Saturday as well, as they come up against an Aston Villa side who haven’t won since the opening day of the season.

That 1-0 win over Bournemouth seems like a dreadfully long time ago now. They have since lost 9 and drawn two of their 11 following Premier League games.

This, unsurprisingly, leaves them rock bottom of the Premier League table, with their five point total leaving them five points adrift of safety.

This led to Tim Sherwood being sacked, with Remi Garde coming in to replace him. His first game saw Aston Villa get a surprising 0-0 draw with Manchester City, but I’m not expecting them to keep a clean sheet on the road.

Romelu Lukaku and company could have a field day on Saturday, and odds of 4/6 for Everton Over 1.5 Team Goals look really good value given their attacking prowess at home. They have scored 11 in their last five home games, which include matches against Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
