Romanian champions Farul Constanta are preparing to compete in the Champions League for the first time in their history and they can make a positive start by defeating Moldovan champions FC Sheriff at Stadionul Viitorul.

Former Romanian superstar Gheorghe Hagi has transformed the fortunes of Farul Constanta, who merged with Viitorul Constanta in June 2021 with the aim of creating a club capable of competing for honours.
