Feyenoord vs PSV Predictions

• Six of the last seven Rotterdam-held H2Hs produced over 2.5 goals with BTTS landing.
• Five of PSV’s last six competitive away games also saw the main selection land.
• Feyenoord are unbeaten in 12 straight Eredivisie matches.

A massive clash in the title race

With just four points separating league leaders Feyenoord from third-placed PSV, the hosts know that ahead of the round, only a victory will guarantee that they will maintain some sort of points buffer at the top of the table. That is of course unless AZ fail to beat Volendam on Saturday to provisionally move top.

Feyenoord are yet to lose a league game at De Kuip this season (W6, D3), although two draws across their last three games indicates that they are there for the taken on an off day. Watch out for Feyenoord stars Orkun Kocku and Danilo, each of which have scored eight goals for the Rotterdam side this term.

PSV were damaged in the January transfer window with Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke heading for the Premier League, although they have brought in Thorgan Hazard and Fabio Silva in an attempt to offset that loss.

Go for goals in an even encounter

Picking a winner in a clash between two of the ‘Big Three’ sides in the Netherlands is rarely an easy task, so we’re avoiding that altogether and going for the consistent trend of high-scoring encounters between these sides.

Both teams have scored with over 2.5 goals in five of PSV’s last six away games, six of the last seven H2Hs held in Rotterdam and in two of Feyenoord’s last four home games. As such, we’re going for a repeat of that outcome for our main prediction, with a high-scoring 2-2 draw in the correct score market completing our selections.
