Draw

Reason for tip

Lazio have drawn three of their last seven matches in all competitions, including a 1-1 at home to Parma last week. Fiorentina, meanwhile, have drawn their last two Serie A home matches while these clubs also played out a 2-2 draw in Rome earlier this season.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Fiorentina have scored exactly one goal in five of their last seven home games, keeping three clean sheets during that run. Lazio, however, have scored in five of their last eight away league games and shipped more than once in only two of those. Back a 1-1 draw between two evenly matched sides.

Viola fans will demand a reaction

Fiorentina and Lazio meet on Monday night in Florence with both sides carrying heavy pressure into a fixture that rarely disappoints.

Paolo Vanoli’s team went into the weekend 15th on 32 points, uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, and their form has been fragile for weeks. Injuries have played a part in their struggles and both Moise Kean and Fabiano Parisi remain doubts for this clash, leaving Roberto Piccoli likely to lead the line with Albert Gudmundsson only fit enough for the bench.

The Viola’s young midfielders bring plenty of energy, but goals have been hard to come by and the Artemio Franchi crowd will demand a reaction to their woeful Europa Conference League defeat at Crystal Palace in midweek.

Draw could be on the cards again

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side are ninth on 44 points, pushing for a European place and buoyed by the emergence of Daniel Maldini, who has grown into one of Serie A’s standout young forwards. Sarri’s 4‑3‑3 is well‑drilled, with Danilo Cataldi returning to Florence in an emotional subplot, flanked by Kenneth Taylor and Fisayo Dele‑Bashiru. Out wide, Gustav Isaksen and Pedro support Maldini, while Nuno Tavares remains one of the league’s most dangerous full‑backs in transition.

Fiorentina’s desperation will fuel their intensity, and Jack Harrison’s pace on the flank could trouble Lazio’s back line. But Lazio’s structure, midfield control and individual quality give them enough to avoid defeat.

The draw looks like an obvious starting point for a bet here with the home side recording stalemates in their last two Serie A home games and Lazio taking a point from their clash against Parma last week. It finished 2-2 when these sides met in Rome in January but take a chance on this finishing one apiece.
