Roma can pick up another win

Roma are in good form and look set to continue their run when they visit Fiorentina at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have won their last three away games, while Stefano Pioli’s hosts have been beaten in their last two home matches.

They are third in Serie A and Fiorentina 16th, with the two sides separated by nine points. Roma have won four of their five games this season, while Fiorentina are yet to win, with three draws and two defeats.

Roma maintained their winning run with a 2-0 home win over Verona last weekend. Artem Dovbyk gave his side the lead in the seventh minute and Matias Soule doubled their advantage. The result was Roma’s second win in the three matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

Roma come into this game in excellent form, having won nine of their last 11 Serie A matches. They have only lost one of their last ten away games and have won on nine of their last 11 trips. Fiorentina, on the other hand, have not won in five league games.

Roma have the best defence in Serie A this season, conceding just one goal in their last five games and keeping eight clean sheets in their last ten on the road. Fiorentina, on the other hand, have failed to keep a shutout in nine of their last 11 league matches.

At least one side has failed to score in all five of Roma’s Serie A games this season, and a 2-0 away win looks the best correct-score option.
