FK Auda vs Larne Predictions
- The first leg finished 0-0.
- Auda have won seven of their 11 home league games in Latvia.
- Larne have lost seven of their last eight European away games.
Opportunity missed for Larne
Larne head to Latvia for the second leg of their Conference League qualifier on Wednesday in a finely poised tie after a 0-0 draw with Auda in the first leg.
Larne reached the main draw in the Conference League last season but their chances of repeating that trick this term appear slim after failing to establish a first leg lead with home advantage.
The Northern Irish outfit have lost seven of their last eight European away games and they were well beaten by Auda’s domestic rivals RFS in Champions League qualifying last season, going down 7-0 on aggregate.
The first meeting in Antrim was a fairly even affair and Auda should now be able to make the most of their own home advantage in the return fixture.
The Latvian side have won seven of their 11 home league games, scoring 20 goals in the process, and while Larne’s road record in their home country is solid they have been poor on their travels in Europe – with seven defeats in their last eight trips stretching back to the 2021/22 season.
Auda’s last six home wins have all come by more than one goal and four of those victories have been 2-0 successes, so a fairly routine 2-0 win for the Latvian outfit looks the best correct score option.
