Frej vs Syrianska Predictions & Betting Tips, Match Previews

Frej narrowly avoided relegation last season as they battled to remain in the Superettan they had worked so hard to get into, and in the end they had to fight off Akropolis in the playoffs to keep their 2nd tier status.

They seem to have learned their lesson well though, and they come into this match in 10th position with a four point lead over the first of the relegation playoff positions, and a win on Saturday could send them up to 7th.

Frej have started picking up more points recently as well. They have won their last two matches and are unbeaten in three, including a shocking 5-2 hammering of league leaders Halmstad at home which will have sent their confidence into overdrive.

Whilst Frej’s confidence is sky high, Syrianska’s will be as low as their league position. They come into this game second from bottom in the table, with their 10 point total from 14 games putting them level on points with bottom placed Angelholm and four points off the safety of 12th.

It’s not surprising either given their results. They have lost five of their last six matches and won none, and away from home they haven’t won all season. They will have been hoping to build on last season’s 7th place finish this year, but right now they would just be happy with safety.

I think Frej have got the upper hand in this one. Their last home match saw them produce a fantastic display as they hammered Halmstad 5-2, and their top scorer Oke Akpoveta took his tally to ten goals for the season with his brace in that game.

Syrianska are in a shocking spell of form too, so my prediction is for them to struggle with the in form side on Saturday. Odds of 21/20 for a Frej win look really good value too, so that’s what I’m backing along with a high scoring 3-1 correct score prediction at huge odds of 18/1.
