Solid start for the hosts

Georgia have gotten off to an exceptional start to their Nations League campaign, scoring nine goals across their last two fixtures and they’ll hope to make it a hat-trick of wins when they take on Bulgaria. The hosts have won six of their last seven matches, with the other being a draw away to Albania, and they’ll feel confident about extending that run here.

Bulgaria have been nothing short of dreadful and haven’t tasted victory since October last year. You have to go all the way back to 2018 to find the last time Bulgaria emerged victorious from an away encounter when they travelled to Slovenia in the Nations League. They’ve failed to win any of their 20 away matches since then and it looks as though another heavy defeat could be on the cards.
