Draw likely when Estoril meet Gil Vicente

A draw seems the most likely outcome when 12th-placed Gil Vicente host an Estoril side in eighth spot in Friday’s Primeira Liga fixture. The hosts are coming off a 3-1 away defeat to Sporting CP last time out that was over before it began for them as Ivo Vieira’s side trailed 2-0 after 22 minutes.

The Roosters fought back well after Vieira tweaked his tactics and grabbed a late consolation from Fran Navarro, who now has five for the season. Gil Vicente had taken four points from their two prior league games and are unlikely to have lost much momentum after the defeat to Sporting.

A 1-1 draw seems like the most likely correct score result as, although Gil Vicente have had two 2-2s already this term, they have failed to score twice at home as well.
