Sevilla to sweep aside winless Nazaries

Sevilla have made a fine start to the season domestically and they can maintain their position towards the head of affairs in La Liga with a win against fellow Andalusians Granada this Sunday.

Los Palanganas finished just nine points shy of champions Atletico Madrid last term and they look capable of mounting a serious title challenge this time around based on what we’ve seen in the opening weeks of the campaign.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have won four and drawn two of their first six league games including a comfortable 2-0 success at home to Espanyol last weekend, a result which also brought up their fourth clean sheet.

Sevilla are laid up just three points behind leaders Real Madrid with a game in hand, and while they’ve stuttered on the European front so far with back to back 1-1 UEFA Champions League draws against Salzburg and Wolfsburg, we can’t envisage them dropping points here against a Granada outfit still seeking their first win of the season.

Nazaries are languishing third bottom after picking up just three draws from their first seven outings, and they come into this weekend’s clash having lost their last two home starts against Real Betis and Real Sociedad.

They arguably face an even sterner test this Sunday against a Sevilla side who have won three of the last four meetings, and we can only see this going the way of the visitors who can also maintain their fifth defensive shut-out of the season.
