KPT set for further woe in Helsinki

HIFK bagged a first win in five away at Inter Turku on Sunday to move into the top six and they should follow that result up this Friday evening when they take on bottom side KTP at Bolt Arena.

HJK Helsinki’s poorer relations are doing about as well as expected this term and their main aim will be to qualify for the Championship Round of the campaign following an eighth place finish in 2020.

Following a disappointing few weeks which brought about just two points from a possible 12, HIFK got back to winning ways on Sunday thanks to a second half effort from Northern Irishman Jake Dunwoody and anything less than a victory this Friday would be a major disappointment.

KTP have toiled since earning promotion to the top flight and have just six points on the board from their first 11 games. Argo Arbeller’s men make the trip the capital without a win in nine and on a losing run of four, with three of those defeats suffered by a two goal margin.

While HIFK clearly aren’t the most consistent side to rely upon from a betting perspective, they’re likely to get the job done here and the 8/13 on offer is a fair reflection of their chances.
