Coleraine head into the new season with big ambitions after some eye-catching summer arrivals but qualifying for Europe looks a huge ask as they have been paired with Finland’s HJK in qualifying.

Coleraine finished second in the league last term but after landing Conor McMenamin and Jay Henderson on permanent deals, as well as Conrad Hunt on loan, they will feel capable of going one better this term domestically.

As for Europe, reaching the main draw of the Conference League could be out of reach this season and HJK can justify their position as clear favourites with a home win on Thursday.
