Hosts to dominate again at El Alcoraz

Huesca have won both of their outings at El Alcoraz since returning to the second tier and Oscenses should have too much quality for Real Oviedo on Matchday 4.

Ignacio Ambriz suffered his first defeat as Huesca boss last weekend when his side went down 2-1 at Las Palmas, but they’ve been foot perfect at El Alcoraz so far in sealing 2-0 victories over Eibar and Cartagena.

Huesca were far from a disaster on their own turf in the top flight last season despite their relegation (W5, D7, L7) and it will be surprising if there are many Segunda sides capable of snatching three points from this venue.

Real Oviedo certainly don’t look up to the task based on their efforts so far, with Carbayonas losing 2-1 at Almeria and managing only draws at home to Lugo (2-2) and Tenerife (0-0).

Huesca are the solid selection this Monday at around the 4/6 mark, and the hosts should only be spurred on by their fruitless recent trip to the Canary Islands. Ambriz’ charges didn’t defend well in Las Palmas, but they can put that right here and record a third clean sheet and 2-0 success of the campaign.
