Kazakhstan vs Netherlands Betting Tips

Kazakhstan managed to battle to a goalless draw with Group A leaders Iceland last time out, a result which took their points tally for the qualification period to a measly two.

Their first point came at home to Latvia in the first of their qualifying matches, with every competitive game in between those two results ending in defeat for the group underdogs.

This, perhaps unsurprisingly, leaves them at the bottom of Group A, although a win on Saturday could see them leapfrog Latvia into 5^th position.

A win is unlikely though, despite the Netherlands poor form throughout this qualification campaign.

The Dutch contingent lost in their last match when Turkey romped to a 3-0 victory, making it back to back losses for them after they let Iceland take three points from them in Amsterdam.

This last match was the Netherlands’ 4^th loss in eight group games, and it leaves them perilously close to missing out on qualification to Euro 2016.

They are in 4^th position, and an automatic qualification spot is already out of reach as the top two teams hold a nine point advantage over the pre-tournament group favourites with just six points left to play for.

Turkey sit in 3^rd position with a 12 point tally compared to Netherlands’ 10 point haul. That loss against Turkey could prove crucial in the race for a playoff position.

Turkey do face a trip to the 2^nd placed Czech Republic on Saturday though, so by the end of the day Netherlands could be back in with a shout.

Netherlands haven’t slipped up against the smaller teams in this group, beating Latvia twice and Kazakhstan at home in convincing fashion.

Netherlands won’t be going easy on the home side on Saturday, as goal difference could prove crucial in such a tight race for 3^rd position. Odds of 8/11 for a Netherlands -1 Handicap Win look good value as well, so I’m backing that along with a 3-0 correct scoreline at 6/1.
