Croatia find themselves third in Group D, needing to win both games and for Wales to slip up in order to automatically qualify for next summer’s Euro 2024 finals in Germany.

Luckily they have a favourable first fixture in their attempts to reach the sectional top two, facing a Latvia side who they have beaten to nil in their last four meetings.

They won 5-0 in the reverse fixture and arrive in Riga having recorded clean sheets in five of their previous seven games, suggesting they are in for a comfortable night in the Latvian capital.

In contrast, Latvia have failed to find the net in three of their last four matches, losing every time, and Croatia should have no issues in beating their hosts without conceding on Saturday.

Croatia should record another solid victory over Latvia on Saturday, albeit by a slightly lower score than the previous meeting.
