Villarreal hoping to keep good run going

After a little bit of a sticky patch, Villarreal have found their shooting boots again and are now three games unbeaten in all competitions.

Quique Setién’s side are still struggling somewhat for clean sheets, though, managing just two in their 14 fixtures since the World Cup, with both teams netting on 10 occasions.

Seven of their last ten outings at La Ceramica have also seen both teams score, while six of their most recent nine matches on home soil have ended in victory.

Can Betis bounce back?

Real Betis were another team who appeared to have found a bit of form, winning three times in a four game unbeaten run before suffering a 4-1 hammering to Manchester United on Thursday.

That result means both teams have scored in six of their last seven outings, showing their struggles in keeping a clean sheet.

Indeed, five of their seven fixtures on the road since Qatar 2022 have also seen both teams score, with five of those matches ending in victory for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

I think both teams will score in this game too, but it’s hard to call a winner, so a 1-1 draw is my correct score prediction.
