Inter should have little trouble on the road

Inter have won four of their last six Serie A games to nil and they can keep another clean sheet away at Lecce on Saturday.

Inter are top of the league, having won 20 of their 25 games so far, while Lecce are 18th with five wins, six draws and 13 defeats.

Lecce beat Udinese 2-1 two weeks ago in their last home game, but they have recorded only one victory in the last nine Serie A matches. In contrast, Inter have won their last eight away games and their last seven clashes with these opponents.

Inter have kept four clean sheets in their last six Serie A outings and have shut out Lecce in their last six meetings.

Lecce have been disappointing in front of goal at home this season, scoring only nine goals in 13 home games – an average of 0.69 goals per game. No Serie A team has failed to find the net in more games this season than Lecce’s total of 13.

A 2-0 away win for Inter looks a decent correct-score option. Four of Inter’s last six Serie A games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score and five of Inter’s 20 victories this term have been by a 2-0 scoreline.
